N2  -  "In good times and in bad, in sickness and in health..." so says the Catholic ritual of marriage. The acceptance of "…and in bad" has become, unfortunately, rather limited in modern Western societies, so separation from „the bad“ by way of divorce has become common. To divorce from the future, however, is not possible. At least not as long as one is alive. One can go and try a future elsewhere - in another place or country - but otherwise we have only two options: die or learn to live with it.
